Hi, I am Ana Lopez founder of Clean & Healthy Living.

 

I am passionate about helping women achieve their health goals by supporting their hormones, regulating their glucose and insulin sensitivity, and alleviating their digestive issues such as inflammation or constipation.

 

I conduct a thorough and comprehensive assessment of your health status, laying the foundation for crafting bio individual nutritional and lifestyle recommendations grounded in the principles of clean and healthy living habits and real whole foods. This approach ensures your body receives the necessary fuel and essential building blocks for achieving optimal health.

A Little About Me…

I am a tri-citizen proudly embracing Mexican, French and American nationalities. Born and raised in the vibrant heart of Mexico City, the historical capital of the Aztec Empire and one of the world’s most densely populated cities, I pursued my bachelor’s in international relations in my hometown. Following this, I ventured north to Monterrey, where I successfully obtained a master’s degree in marketing. My journey then led me to Europe for a transformative few years. Currently I reside in the charming town of Buda, just south of Austin Texas, savoring the unique blend of cultures and experiences that life has to offer. 

I’ m passionate about following a clean and healthy lifestyle that is free of toxins and whole real foods. This dedication didn’t just come out of nowhere; it came from years of dealing with digestive issues that caused me terrible constipation, inflammation, and candida overgrowth. After a couple of colonoscopies and functional blood labs, I was eventually diagnosed to have intestinal permeability, also known as leaky gut.

These issues weren’t just affecting my confidence; they were messing with my cholesterol levels, my thyroid function, and draining my health due to all sorts of vitamins and minerals deficiencies. Despite these struggles, I tried to downplay their significance, attempting to normalize my experience even though I didn’t feel like myself anymore. Then, one day, I decided that these condition and my not-so-great genetics were not going to define my future and I needed to make a transformative change.

I took matters into my own hands and dove into research, devouring books on candida, leaky gut, nutrition, and hormonal health. I enrolled in every course and podcast related to this topic. While experimenting with diets, supplement plans and biohacking techniques offered some relief, they felt short on addressing the root cause. It wasn’t until I grasped the transformative impact of nutrient-dense real whole foods on my digestion and hormonal health that I found a lasting solution and a new lifestyle. Changing my daily habits and adopting a new approach to nurturing my body proved to be the key to healing for good.

I started my Nutrition Career at Cornell University achieving a certification in Nutrition and Healthy Living, after loving that experience, I became a Holistic Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) with a specialty on Female Hormonal Health. But my learning journey is still not done, as I am currently working on expanding my knowledge in Functional Labs so I can give a science-based approach to all my recommendations.

My promise is that at Clean & Healthy Living I will provide YOU, with customized holistic protocols based on qualitative and quantitative data and a safe place for all woman who are looking to go the extra mile to find the root cause of their hormonal, insulin, or digestive dysfunction.

I will be your guide and support system at every step of the way, so you don’t have to walk this path alone.
